so long max fish…

The time as come for a great L.E.S legendary bar to close it’s doors. It’s had a 20+ run and it’s was one of the first places I went to when I moved to the neighborhood! Joe Latimore of Sensei is lining the walls with work from his crew of artists, including myself. Swing by in the next month or so and say good-bye to this neighborhood joint with some PBR’s, skater kids and art.

Opening reception Tuesday Oct 9th 7pm-10pm
Show ends on Oct. 30th.

John Breiner Opening

Stopped by my friend’s new spot in the L.E.S. to check out John Breiner’s new work. I’ve seen John’s art at Mighty Tanaka and have loved it ever since. His use of color and drawing skills are alive and playful. The opening itself was warm and fuzzy with good friends and ever better cocktails.

Panda is hosting artists John Breiner from April 28 – May 30th, 2010. Stop by from Wednesdays to Sundays and take a peek.

Max Greis & John Breiner

you can’t miss this pretty awesome show at Mighty Tanaka. Max Greis does collage landscape masterpieces depicting apocalyptic yet paradisal imagery, great blending brushwork, and just awesome to look at. And alongside is drawer and watercolorist (pencil color, pen, Gouache?) John Breiner. I’m attaching my favorites works of his, even though I love them all. So much awesome detail inside these intricate worlds. You must stop by and see ‘Entropology: Man’s Devolution.’
