I’ve been mixing my knitting skills with a bit of sewing to make some snazzy pillows. I’m currently making some hand-knit as well as full fabric pillow covers which I’ll soon post on my etsy store. The store currently has some cozy knits for this lingering winter if you need a beanie or cowl!

Bit of a preview of the things Ill be posting below:

Copake Lake

A little over 2.5 hours from NYC (and 30mins from Hudson, NY.), sits the sleepy and wonderful lake community of Copake Lake. I look forward to coming here and relaxing by the water and waving to our neighbors. Our lake home is available for rent if you would like to enjoy some quiet time this summer.

Francis Simeni and SENSEI

I just got back from Francis Simeni’s art opening at Sensei’s new gallery. And what a room! Joe Latimore scored a sweet second floor large space in Chinatown. Francis’s large colorful paintings look amazing and I’m very excited for the Sensei crew. You should stop by and show your support.

Cay-161 & Bill Cunningham

[1970’s]…”Using a naming convention in which they would add their street number to their nickname, they “bombed” a train with their work, letting the subway take it throughout the city. Bubble lettering was popular among writers from the Bronx, but was replaced with a new “wildstyle”, a term coined by Tracy 168…” – wiki

Otsego Lake

Cooperstown, NY. What a great town! In just a little over 3.5 hour drive from NYC sits this Baseball obsessed village (home of the Baseball Hall of Fame!). Cooperstown is also right on Otsego Lake. This 9 mile long, motorboat-friendly lake (which is related to the Finger Lakes in upstate NY) is a gorgeous getaway. I can only imagine what this place would look like during the Autumn season. After some research, we stumbled upon http://cooperstownluxury.com/, rented a home for a group of 10+ friends and headed north. Bill Miller is an incredible host and his homes are cozy, beautiful and perfect. He also has recommended we stay at his other property across the lake during the autumn and winter seasons (heated pool!). Oh, and the drive through route 145 is simply stunning. Some pictures from our rendezvous below.

LBi weekend

Can’t go wrong when heading out to LBi for the weekend. I love the surf town vibe & sandy sidewalks. Here are some pics from this past Memorial Day. x
