Katie Decker – Art and Design

Katie Decker’s trait is design, but she has been making some great art work lately. She uses mixed media to get her messages across, overheard conversations and quotes picked up from her friends. On this particular series, she also pokes fun of the latest cultural fad on verbal abbreviations, such as lol, lmao and omg. I added about 20 pieces of her work on my flickr. check her out there as well as her cool website: http://floodcreative.com/.

My Opening in San Francisco

Opening at Project One

I’ve been working hard for this opening for the past few months. Here are some pics of the big night. I will be updating my website with all the new work very soon.

Show stays up until Saturday Jan 24th. There will be a closing party starting at 8. Come by if you can!

Project One is on 251 Rhode Island St., San Francisco.

Designer Katie Decker

Katie’s work is meticulous…She loves anything tiny and detailed and her hand-made type work is beautiful. For this particular series, she traveled the antique scene to collect some key pieces, and also took note of people’s random quotes and placed them together to create very clever artwork and conversation pieces…Her work is original and her craft is sharp. check it out her art on my flickr page, and also her website.
