In other news…. (update)

Totally unrelated to art, but I had to share… A red-tailed Hawk decided to pay me a visit with its dead pigeon… What a sight! He stared at me with his big black-marble eyes… I’ve never seen anything like it before… and so close. I’ve heard of Falcon’s in NYC, but a hawk??? Thank you nature.

Adia Millett

Adia Millett’s current body of work, deeply embedded in metaphor, suggests a story of transition from loss to potential love. Her work examines the beauty of impermanence, the power of the unknown, and the illusion of innocence. She uses gestures, objects and sound to convey an abstracted reality where the viewer is asked to put together pieces of a mysterious puzzle. – Artist’s Statement

a crisp flight from coast to coast…. I’m not sure if we were flying extremely high or what… but I felt I was on the edge of the earth… This is the closest I’ve come to my life long dream of one day going into space…
