Mystery solved… Shepard Fairey and his crew of 2 others are putting up the new mural (as we speak) at the Bowery/Houston wall. Took some shots and a couple of videos

Shepard Fairey will have a solo show opening May 01, 2010 — May 29, 2010 @ Detich Projects Gallery – 18 Wooster Street, New York.

Looks like has has been busy doing some work in LA as well. Read about it here.

When I walk around this city, I often look around for tucked away street art or anything unique that stands out in the sea of concrete. This man is making small art coins and dropping them around town, hoping they will create a sweet little story of their own. Read the NY Times article here.
